Battery operated time & attendance unit for mains-free simplicity

The TIMY Time Recorder ‘clocking-in unit’ is very compact, and installs on an internal building wall in less than five minutes. The unit is totally cable-free and professional installation services are not required, saving considerable additional expense and data transfer is by USB memory key.

The TIMY-Soft application is provided on the supplied USB Key and installation takes less than a minute. The USB Key is also used to collect clocking-in data from the terminal. The system holds unlimited users and operates on standard AA alkaline batteries which will last for at least 12 months when up to 40 staff are clocking-in and clocking-out daily.

This battery operated clocking terminal is compact, cable-free and can be installed in under 5 minutes.

Wireless

The Timy-Tel wireless time recording unit using robust Radio-Frequency (RFID) contactless Badges and Fobs. Clocking-in time stamp data is transferred by GPRS or Wi Fi wireless to the Timy-Soft PC application, which operates under MS-Excel.

The clock terminal consists of a Samsung Android mobile Ꞌphone with NFC (Near Field Communications) which enables it to read contactless RFID badges & fobs. The system can communicate from virtually any location worldwide via GPRS (mobile Ꞌphone SIM) or a Wi Fi network. If GPRS is chosen, a data SIM card and subscription is required from a mobile services supplier. A Wi Fi connection requires only the network password.

The terminal will automatically transfer clocking data to the software and allow the user to send configuration messages to the terminal by e-mail. It can be installed anywhere that a GPRS or    Wi Fi network signal is available.

The power requirement is AC mains (100-240v) which charges the batteries of the Ꞌphone. If the AC power fails unit will run for 15 hours, approximately.
