During my time with Addtime we’ve made the strategic change from a pure time and attendance company to a business that does much more. Where once we sold punch cards and clocking machines, now it’s about biometric scanners, and time and attendance is just one element of whole workforce management systems that can help you cost jobs, manage attendance, monitor your mobile workers and keep you safe in a fire.

The most enjoyable part of what I do? I think it’s helping customers who’ve not been given the service and support they needed with another vendor. I love being able to show them what we can do and making them part of the ‘Addtime Family’.

Tim Groves Business Development & Sales Manager

“I am responsible for the sales, marketing and operational strategy of the business. Since joining Addtime in 2015, I’ve been working on changing the way we work as a business moving us now to a biometric software technology company with a strong value proposition. I recognised that the market was changing and so too were the needs of our customers in terms of what they expected from our software and the service we offered as a business. Consequently we’ve redesigned our product and service offering with a new corporate identity (Jigsaw logo), re-enforced with a strong Mission, Vision and Value statement. We have changed the way we talk with our clients, focusing on the issues we can help you solve, rather than merely sell products. It’s already proving to be a big success.

On a daily basis, my role is to present the business benefits using Addtime products and services to our customers & prospects and ensuring we deliver on our values.

The biggest thrill about my role is seeing how the changes we are making are affecting the business. Moving to a technology and software driven company that is providing solutions to common business problems means it’s much easier for customers to see the added value of buying or using Addtime products and services. Customers who thought they only needed time and attendance systems are discovering that actually we could be helping them do so much more helping them reduce costs at the same time.

Most of my spare time is spent with my 3 children, they grow up fast so I don’t want to miss that precious time. I also like to stay fit and active attending local gym classes.”

Matt Blackburn Support Engineer

“My official title here at Addtime is Support Engineer, however you will find that along with general support I am also heavily involved in project management, consultancy and training of new clients.

When joining Addtime, one of the values of the business that really stood out to me was the priority on good, helpful customer service. It is something that we as a business take much pride in and delivering the best customer service is not only something I strive for, but also the thing I enjoy most about my job.

When I am not in the office, I tend to spend a lot of my time watching football and relaxing with friends and family in the glorious sunshine of Garswood”.


Matt Downing Project Manager

“I guess you could sum up what I do as being a trouble shooter, solving problems and managing projects end to end.

If you’re a new client, I’ll be project managing your installation and carrying out online or onsite training to help you get more from your software. Then, as you get used to your new software, I’ll help you and your team to get even more from it with ongoing support and customisation of key reports and scripts.

Every day we want to show that we care about our clients’ needs, and that we’re willing to go that extra mile to give them exactly what they want. I want to understand their pains and challenges by asking the right questions, perhaps before they know themselves and manage my accounts from the moment a project goes live from: ‘Pre-Installation’ and the setting up of a customer database to server installation, software configuration and customer training I take great pride in what I do and how I do it

As the newest recruit to Addtime’s Support team I’m really proud of what we do and what we stand for, helping businesses solve the problems they’ve been struggling with – sometimes for years.

Being a family man with 3 children, most of my spare time is spent with them relaxing as I like to work, rest and play readying myself for the next big challenge customers ask of me”.
